Extreme Warrior announced himself as a sprinter of undoubted quality after an unlucky, fast finishing 2nd in the Debutante Stakes on debut in October of his 2yo year.
It was however in a competitive Group 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes at Caulfield that EXTREME WARRIOR emphatically laid claim to his Group One talent. A last 400m blitz which race-caller Matt Hill describes as a ‘demolition’…. ‘Extreme Warrior runs straight past Profteer…this is going to be a demolition!’
It was a ‘wow’ performance which led to many ratings experts declaring Extreme Warrior a Group One winner in the making;
