Value, Like No Other! Rosemont Announce 2026 Fees
4th May, 2026
In 2025 we introduced a new era in our journey of standing stallions here at our beautiful Gnarwarre base with the introduction of two elite prospects for the Australian market: Schwarz (Zoustar) & Henry Longfellow (Dubawi).
Two elite Group One Winners by champion sires & from legacy-leaving female families, both stallions met with the utmost popularity amongst breeders covering over 260 mares between them which included over 50+ black type winners and countless stakes producing mares.
Adding to the excitement at Rosemont has been the emergence of Extreme Choice’s EXTREME WARRIOR as a young sire of real influence, the solid start of Hanseatic which has drawn comparisons to his own sire STREET BOSS plus the ongoing consistency of Snitzel’s best sire son, SHAMUS AWARD who delivered the impressive winner of this year’s $3M 3yo Magic Millions Guineas.
As always, the Rosemont principal applies. We are steadfast in our commitment to not just ‘saying it’ but offering genuine value-for-money.
SCHWARZ (Zoustar) $33,000
SHAMUS AWARD (Snitzel) $33,000
EXTREME WARRIOR (Extreme Choice) $22,000
HENRY LONGFELLOW (Dubawi) $19,800
HANSEATIC (Street Boss) $9,900
DOULL (Snitzel) $5,500
SCHWARZ, The best and most successful son of reigning champion sire Zoustar & from the immediate family of Redoute’s Choice, stands for the excellent value of $33,000 inc GST (Payment On Live Foal).
A $1.25m yearling purchase & winner of five stakes including a brilliant all-the-way win in the $1M Gr.1 WFA William Reid, Schwarz is Australia’s only Group One WFA Winning son of Champion sire Zoustar and is the first $1M+ Yearling / Group One WFA Winning Australian sprinter (5f-6f) to retire to stand at stud in over a decade.
Schwarz had an ultra-successful first season at stud in 2025 in which he covered 143 mares at over 83% fertility providing a great foundation for his long-term stud career
This 2026 fee reflects Rosemont’s strong intention to support Schwarz with another quality book of mares going into the 2026 breeding season.
Importantly, those IN-FOAL mares to Schwarz include the likes of Stakes Winners BROOKLYN HUSTLE, SNEAKY FIVE, SISTONIC, SERENA MISS (NZ), MILDRED, FITEUSE, EVERYDAY LADY, GIFT OF POWER, LA ROCQUE, SOUND MACHINE (USA), ALWAYS ALLISON, ANJANA, A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT, PEARL STAR, LIGHT TOUCH, BLESS HER etc., as well as the dams of Stakes Winners DANCE TO THE BOOM, RELEEM IN RUBY, SEMILLION TREASUREWAY, FLYER, BALLISTIC LOVER etc.

The dynamic, EXTREME WARRIOR – the Highest Rated 3yo son of freakish young sire EXTREME CHOICE – stands his fifth season at the increased fee of $20,000 + GST (Payment On Live Foal).
Acknowledging, his limited number of 2yo’s compared to his counterparts, It has been an impressive start to Extreme Warrior’s stud career to date most notably via the outstanding colt ETERNAL WARRIOR. A stylish winner of the Listed Debutante Stakes on debut before an eye-catching Blue Diamond performance, ETERNAL WARRIOR was amongst the favourites in the Golden Slipper before an untimely injury setback ruling him out of the iconic race.
Classy colt BLANDFORD BARON another highlight, a pre-Christmas metropolitan winning 2yo featuring the natural precocity displayed by Extreme Warrior’s stock.
Indeed, the market has clearly taken notice. Yearling average has increased by a whopping 130% on last year and major sale yearlings in 2026 have sold for $220k, $220k, $180k, $160k and bought by the likes of John O’Shea, Mick Price, Lloyd Kennewell & Annabel Neasham.
As an emerging young sire of influence, Extreme Warrior represents an attractively priced option to ‘tap into’ the Extreme Choice phenomenon, an immense stallion standing for an Australian record of $385,000 in 2026.
Nominations are limited in Extreme Warrior in 2026, and we urge breeders to contact the team at Rosemont quickly to secure a booking.
Returning to Rosemont in 2026 is the stunning, royally bred Group One Winning 2yo son of Dubawi, HENRY LONGFELLOW who will stand his second season at the astonishing value of $18,000 + GST (Payment On Live Foal)
With a 2yo Timeform Rating equal to the likes of Slipper winners SHINZO & GUEST HOUSE, Henry Longfellow, like his legendary Sire of Sires Dubawi, remained undefeated as a juvenile in winning the €400k Goffs National Stakes Gr.1 by a widening five lengths. From Galileo’s greatest ever daughter, MINDING, Henry Longfellow joins sire sensation TOO DARN HOT as the only other Group One Winning 2yo by DUBAWI to ever stand in Australia.
In fact, being by Dubawi from a Galileo mare he is bred on the exact same cross as sire sensations, NIGHT OF THUNDER & GHAIYYATH.
Covering over 120+ mares, Henry Longfellow has over 90 mares IN-FOAL which includes young stakes winners TREASURWAY, QUICKSTER, DIVINE QUALITY, HEAVENLY CURLIN, JAMAICAN RAIN, KHULAASA, CAMEO, GIFT OF POWER & SPANISH REEF etc.

The rise of SHAMUS AWARD as an elite sire of Group One Winners has been nothing short of phenomenal and the Cox Plate winning, champion son of Snitzel remain at the value fee of $30,000 + GST (Payment On Live Foal).
A sire with the ability to get a proper Group One star…. INCENTIVISE, DUAIS, MR QUICKIE, QUINTESSA – all multiple Group One winners.
Recent stakes winning 3yo’s Impulsive Reaction and the high-class TORQUE TO BE SURE, winner of the $3m Magic-Millions Guineas, a reminder of the quality Shamus Award can deliver.
His 6% Stakes Winners / Runners ranks as one of the best in Victoria and is superior to the likes of fellow Victorian sires TORONADO, GHAIYAATH, ALABAMA EXPRESS, PIERATA, STREET BOSS & BRAZEN BEAU.
Standing for $9,000 + GST (Payment On Live Foal) is the hugely popular, HANSEATIC.
Fresh of siring his first stakes winner through the impressive ROHESIA, Hanseatic is enjoying a solid early start to his stud career – in fact, at the same point of their stallion careers, Hanseatic has more winners than his sire Street Boss, and his FIVE stakes’ horses are equal to that of his sire at the same stage of his southern hemisphere career.
Black type performers PLATINUM PANTHEON, SOVEREIGN DASH & BERMONDSEY look destined to add to their records over the next twelve months as do the promising undefeated, metro winning 2yo’s THE SPEED MACHINE and the $200,000 yearling purchase MORNING THUNDER who could not have been more impressive when scoring on debut in Perth by a big margin.
With over 500 mares covered in the first three seasons we expect this promising young stallion to have a significant impact over the next 12 months and 2026 presents as an opportune to time to consider breeding to him.
Yearlings over the last two years have sold for up to $375,000, $250,000, $230,000, $220,000, $200,000, $180,000, $160,000 etc.
In 2024, we launched the stallion career of the brilliantly fast, magnificent looking son of Snitzel, DOULL.
A $1.2 Million Inglis Easter Yearling purchase, DOULL set the Flemington straight alight on debut as a 2yo recording a dominant victory in what was ranked by The Ratings’ Bureau’ Daniel O’Sullivan as the ‘best performance by a juvenile colt throughout the 21/22’ season’.
He returned in the 2023 spring and showcased his speed to win the 1000m Gr2 Caulfield Sprint producing the fastest last 600m ran at Caulfield amongst all sprint Group races in season 22/23’.
Doull’s first foals arrived at Rosemont in 2025 and have met with high praise – a dominant bay stallion, his foals display consistent size, strength and quality you would expect given their appearance of their sire.
From the 2yo stakes winning daughter of the influential Shamardal, Doull (pictured) is an A+ type, beautifully bred & arguably the best-looking son of 4x Champion sire SNITZEL to enter stud. He will stand at the reduced fee of $5,000+ GST (Payment On Live Foal).
ALL Rosemont Stallion are presented with ‘Payment On Live Foal’ terms.
