Offered as Lot 7 at the Inglis Great Southern Sale on Thursday morning, Rosemont Stud’s quality Frankel filly from Abby Hatcher (IRE) made an early splash when selling for $525,000.

She was snapped up by astute New Zealand based investor Gary Harding and is the first foal of Abby Hatcher, a Group III winning half-sister by Acclamation to stakes-winner Purciaretta.
Abby Hatcher finished her racing career in North America where she won the Group III Arlington Park Chicago Stakes and was bought from the 2021 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale for $185,000 by Julian Blaxland on behalf of Rosemont Stud.
