With the outstanding success of the first European crop of Starspangledbanner, all at Rosemont Stud can’t wait for his first Australian crop to hit the track this season – but in the meantime we have plenty to keep us busy with the arrival of his first Rosemont Stud-conceived crop and the ‘first cab off the rank’ is a colt that is bred to be fast!!

The impressive looking foal pictured below, is the first colt out of the Rubiton mare Miley, a winning half-sister to the Group Two-winning, Group One placed Truly Wicked, who is in turn the dam of Hong Kong’s Champion Griffin Amber Sky, a winner last season of the Group One Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan during the Dubai World Cup meeting.

It is also the family of Group Three winner Ticket To Rome, Group Two winner Great Glen (Great Delight (HK)) and Denman’s exciting first crop stakes winner Shigeru Sedan, a winner of the Listed Woodlands Stakes at Scone.

Set to cover his second Victorian crop of mares this season, Starspangledbanner is currently full, with the sole opportunity to secure a nomination to him will be auction at the upcoming Inglis August Thoroughbred Sale, August 22.
