With the firstday of selling done and dusted at this year’s Inglis Gold VOBIS Yearling Sale, Rosemont Stud had the honour of supplying the top priced yearling to go through the ring.

With 10 of our 11 yearlings through the ring today finding new homes, Lot 14, a colt by leading sire Snitzel out of the Group Two-winning Yakama was the top priced lot of the sale so far, heading to Lindsay Park Bloodstock and trainer David Hayes for $80,000.

Another of our draft to sell extremely well was Lot 239, a filly by Fastnet Rock’s stakes-winning son Stryker, out of the stakes placed Strategic mare Strata Title who was purchased by Shea Eden Racing for $40,000.
