Rosemont Stud Gnarwarre will throw open its gates for its inaugural Open Day and stallion parade on the opening day of the breeding season, September 1.

From 10am until noon the iconic Geelong farm will be an open book for breeders to come and enjoy the start of what will be a very exciting new season for Rosemont.

Multiple Group One winner Toorak Toff, with his first foals about to hit the ground, will be paraded and no one will be disappointed with the way he has let down. A most magnificent sort, breeders are sure to be keen to gain access to the last of the Star Kingdom blood once they have seen this gorgeous chestnut in the flesh.

In something of a coup for the Bellerine and Victoria, Starspangledbanner returns to his birth farm this season to resume his stop start breeding career and will also be paraded. An iconic world sprinter, Starspangledbanner won no less than 4 G1 races including the peerless Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot won last year by Black Caviar as well as the July Cup at Newmarket, Oakleigh Plate and Caulfield Guineas.

A horse that takes the breath away as a specimen and for the aura of power he exudes, he will be more than worth the hour or so drive from Melbourne for the day.

Evergreen stallion Danzero will also be paraded and the Golden Slipper winner could not look in better shape heading into the twilight of his breeding career.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy some refreshments and high class stallion flesh at one of Australia’s best thoroughbred properties – Rosemont Gnarwarre.

RSVPs are essential so email Dean Harvey on today.
