In what is sure to be a highlight of the stallion parade day roster in Victoria, Rosemont will parade Starspangledbanner at its open day on Saturday, August 30 at 11am sharp.

Along with young gun stallion Toorak Toff who has his first yearlings getting ready to go to sale and proven G1 stallion Starcraft, Rosemont's Anthony Mithen is excited about this year's offering.

"To showcase a stallion that the world is talking about like Starspangledbanner is something special. Given demand, we have had to be selective about when we parade Star but this is a chance for come one, come all," Mithen said.

"He is such a great physical specimen, I can't wait to show him off. We have been very particular about picking stallions that are extremely good looking, so bring the sunglasses to protect against the dazzle!"

"Toorak Toff has let down into the most gorgeous stallion and his yearlings are inheriting his good looks, temperament and athleticism. We will parade a few yearlings by the Toff and people can judge for themselves but the reaction from the sales companies and bloodstock agents who have been through the farm have me brimming with confidence on the horse."

Never a farm to let the grass grow beneath their feet, Rosemont were busy through the autumn striking a deal with stallion giants Arrowfield to relocate Starcraft into Super VOBIS territory and the move seems to be paying off.

"He has been very popular and so he should be. There is not a better proven stallion in the land at 10 grand than Starcraft. He's got multiple G1 winners the likes of Star Witness, he throws a perfect sales horse to make some money yet he's priced to give the breed to race players a chance to get a top quality VOBIS product with a small spend. He will do me!"

Being Memsie Stakes day, Rosemont will parade the stallions from 11am sharp with a view of having the parade finished in time for those needing to head to the races to get there in time. But for those in no rush, a giant screen will play the day's action from Caulfield and a BBQ lunch will follow the parade.
