Starting with the recent success of three-year-old Snitzel filly Estonian Princess (pictured left) who proved too classy for her rivals, dropping back from the 2000m of the Adrian Knox Stakes behind Arabian Gold, to win the Group Three James H B Carr Stakes over 1400m.

An interesting side note is that the dam of Arabian Gold, Coablo and Meet My Sis, the dam of Estonian Princess, both have Toorak Toff weanlings on the ground, a filly (pictured right) and a colt respectively.

Sold through the 2012 Magic Millions Yearling Sale for $65,000 to owners Glenn and Vive Williams, the Scott Aspery-trained Estonian Princess has earned her connections just shy of $350,000 from her 14 starts to date, which also includes a length second to Sweet Idea in this year’s Magic Millions 3yo Guineas.

In the last few days Rosemont Stud-bred runners have also performed extremely well in South Africa with three-year-old filly Goldie Coast and two-year-old filly Alboran Sea both winning.

Goldie Coast, trained by Paul Lafferty Racing, was successful on Friday at Greyville, where the daughter of Choisir won by two lengths, her fourth career victory from only nine starts to date.

Making her debut on Tuesday at Clairwood, Inglis Premier Yearling Sale graduate Alboran Sea, a filly by Rock Of Gibraltar produced an exciting display, winning for trainer Mike de Kock by three-parts-of-a-length over 1000m.

Alboran Sea is out of the American-bred Toolighttoquit mare Lady’s Light, she also has a weanling colt by Toorak Toff, and was covered by Starspangledbanner in the most recent breeding season.

On Tuesday back in Australia, 2012 Magic Millions Yearling Sale graduate Our Sarastro broke his maiden at Kembla Grange for trainer Bart and James Cummings, scoring by almost two lengths over 1400m.

By the Darley stallion Shamardal, Our Sarastro is out of the Brahms mare Song Of Destiny, whose current weanling is a colt by Toorak Toff and the mare was covered by the same sire in the latest breeding season.

With four weanlings by Toorak Toff headed for the upcoming Magic Millions National Weanling Sale in the draft of Rosemont Stud, we are all extremely excited to see how the market will accept the progeny of the multiple Group One-winning son of Show A Heart.
